Gregory Kats

Senior Director & Director of Climate Change Policy, Good Energies

Gregory Kats is senior director and director of climate change policy at Good Energies, a several billion dollar global clean energy investment firm, where he leads the firm’s investments in energy efficiency and green buildings. Greg is founding chair of the Energy and Atmosphere Technical Advisory Group for LEED and a principal author of Green Office Buildings: a Practical Guide to Development (ULI, 2005). He served as the director of financing for energy efficiency and renewable energy at the U.S. Department of Energy. He serves on numerous boards and as sustainability advisor to CalPERS, and is a founder of New Resource Bank and the American Council on Renewable Energy. His latest book is Greening our Built World: Costs, Benefits, and Strategies published by Island Press.
