Investigating Where We Live Exhibition Opening Reception

During the Investigating Where We Live outreach program participants explore neighborhoods in Washington, D.C. through photography, creative writing, and finally exhibition design.

Join us to celebrate the opening of the 2008 Investigating Where We Live (IWWL) student-designed exhibition. Armed with digital cameras, notebooks, and critical thinking skills, this year's IWWL participants observed the Washington, D.C. neighborhoods of Brookland, Deanwood, and Stanton Park to gain an understanding of each community's identity and residents. The exhibition features their photographs, writings, and art work and will be on display from July 30, 2008 through January 11, 2009. developed over the course of the IWWL program.
