Framing a Capital City

Symposium


 

Organized collaboratively by the U.S. Commission of Fine Arts (CFA), the National Capital Planning Commission (NCPC), and the National Building Museum, Framing a Capital City was organized to help shape the National Capital Framework Plan, a joint NCPC-CFA initiative to guide federal planning for Washington, DC in the 21st century. Includes panels and discussions from scholars, designers, policymakers, and citizens on how the nation’s capital will evolve in its dual role as a showcase for the nation and a livable city.
