Building Tour: Arlo Washington D.C.

August 6 @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm

On this exclusive building tour, explore the adaptive reuse of one of Washington, D.C.’s most storied landmarks, the Harrison Apartment Building, now reimagined as Arlo Washington DC. Located in Judiciary Square, this 12-story, 445-room hotel breathes new life into the city’s oldest surviving apartment building, originally constructed in 1888 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Guided by the project’s architects, preservationists, and hotel leadership, the tour offers a rare, behind-the-scenes look at how Romanesque Revival elements, such as the original turret, brownstone archways, wrought iron railings, and vaulted brick ceilings, were carefully preserved and integrated into a modern hotel design.
