STEAM Saturday

Join the National Building Museum for a day of imagining your dream city! At STEAM Saturday, kids will explore how we design, plan, and enjoy our community and public spaces. Share your ideas and get creative with talk-back boards and hands-on building challenges.

In the morning, the Building Reader’s Club and DC Public Library will explore the design process behind local libraries, featuring resources from the People’s Archive and the National Building Museum collection. Stay for the whole day or drop in for one activity!

Family Programming Schedule

1pm-3pm- Join STEAM Saturday Future Cities

10am-4pm- Explore exhibits Coming Together and Brick City

The second Saturday of each month, families are invited to join the National Building Museum for STEAM activities related to our Brick City exhibition.
