Storytime
January 30 @ 10:30 am - 11:00 am
Join The Socratic School of Language for a bilingual STEAM story time that brings together shapes, culture, and creativity! We will read Cuauhtémoc: Shapes / Formas by Patty Rodríguez and Ariana Stein, a beautifully illustrated book that introduces young children to shapes through the rich cultural lens of Aztec architecture.
Through interactive storytelling, children (ages 2–6) will learn Spanish and English words for shapes like círculo (circle) and triángulo (triangle), explore how shapes were used in the ancient city of Tenochtitlan, and engage in a hands-on craft to build their own Aztec pyramid.
