The Legacy of Maya Lin

Join the National Building Museum for a facilitated, hands-on workshop to learn about renowned architect and artist Maya Lin, known for her environmental artworks, architectural works, and memorial designs. In this program, our educators will guide learners through discovering how Lin explores the landscape and built environment in her work, including the Vietnam Veterans Memorial here in DC, before having the opportunity to design a monument or memorial of their own.

Note: Program tickets are $15 per participating child and $10 per adult, which includes admission to the Museum’s exhibitions.
