View the first documentary about the pioneering work of landscape architect Beatrix Farrand (1872-1959), The Life and Gardens of Beatrix Farrand. Join six-time Emmy Award-winning documentary filmmaker and Yale Fellow Karyl Evans as she talks with Darwina L. Neal, FASLA, landscape architect and former chief of Cultural Resources Preservation Services, National Capital Region, National Park Service, and Maureen Joseph, ASLA, Regional Historical Landscape Architect, National Capital Region, National Park Service, about Farrand, her work, and her place as the “mother” of landscape architecture in the United States.
