The National Building Museum seeks part-time HR Generalist/Payroll Assistant to perform HR-related duties on a professional level with minimal supervision and to work closely with the senior HR staff to support Museum programs. The position will have responsibilities in the following functional areas: payroll, benefits administration, recruitment/employment, employee relations, affirmative action, employment/labor law, policy implementation.
Qualifications include: A bachelor’s degree, and three to five years’ human resource experience, or a master’s degree in human resource management and two years’ experience in the HR field, or seven years of experience in the HR field, or any similar combination of education and experience.
Qualified candidates must experience with ADP Workforce Now payroll system and report writer and have successfully handled payroll concession; excellent problem solving/analysis skills; be able to communicate with all levels of staff and vendors; handle confidential data and display ethical conduct; work independently to implement new systems; strong computer skills.
